We Lost A Friend

Central Valley Prospectors is an Official Chapter of GPAA. You do not need to be a member of GPAA to join CVP and we charge no dues. We are a non-profit (501-c-3) small mining and prospecting club. CVP is dedicated to providing education and increased public awareness of prospecting and mining, as well as lots of fun. We own our own claims and provide outside programs for various groups. We welcome all ages, including families with children.

CLAIMS STATUS

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

PLEASE READ!

We were just informed that we lost a long time friend, Club member and past Delta Diggers President, Russ Tait lost his battle fighting cancer. I know he is up there with Nancy panning away and finding lots of gold. Please say a prayer for him and remember all the kids happy smiling faces he taught how to pan. When we find out any further information we will pass it on.

We were just informed that the Creek Fire has jumped over the San Joaquin River. THE Mammoth Pools road is closed and CVP1 (Chiquita Creek) is also closed, so please stay out of the area till further notice. To keep up with all the fires go to the Calfire Website.   https://www.fire.ca.gov

Just wanted all the members to know that we still cannot have a General Assembly Meeting for the month of October. We are hoping by November that we can resume our meetings.
