Monthly Meetings!

Every month the club has two meetings. The Board Meeting is held every second Wednesday at six pm. All members are welcome to attend. The next Board Meeting will be held on March 13th.

The General Meeting is held on the Third Tuesday of each month. Our next general meeting will be on March 19th.

Multi-Month Raffles

For the multi-month raffles (the metal detector currently being raffled, for instance.), it has been decided that members do not have to be present to win! The club will be publishing the name/ticket number here on the website blog following the General Meeting the item is given away on.

Education Volunteers Needed!

Don has put together a series of trips to area schools to teach about California gold history and put on demonstrations of how to pan and metal detect. Dates will be added to the CVP Google Calendar! If you wish to participate in them simply add the event to your Google Calendar and get reminders as the date(s) get closer

Part of our charter asks us to provide educational services in order to maintain our non-profit status! Please help with the effort, it's sure to be a lot of fun!!

Tentative Outings!

The club has planned two club-wide outings. The first is planned for March 24-31st, 2024 in Ace of Spades. All interested parties for this trip will meet at the Ace of Spades Claim.

The other will be at Road 600 on April 20, 2024. Interested parties will meet at Raley's by 9am before heading to the claim. Add the event to your google calendar for updated information and reminders of the outings. More information will be posted as plans get solidified.
